Convoy App for Camper Groups

When several campers or RVs travel together, the trip quickly becomes a coordination problem. DriBu helps your group stay connected with Trips, live locations and shared routes.

A camper convoy driving through a forest road

Traveling with several campers sounds relaxed, but on the road it quickly turns into a coordination task. One vehicle drives a bit slower, someone stops for fuel, an exit is missed or the agreed meetup point suddenly becomes unclear. That is where DriBu helps: it brings navigation, group overview and live locations together in one shared Trip.

The problem on group trips

The more vehicles are involved, the more side communication builds up. A short break is often enough for the convoy to spread out. From there, the trip turns into calls, messages and improvised coordination, even though everyone simply wants to arrive safely and without stress.

  • Different driving speeds split the convoy over time.
  • Fuel stops and breaks rarely happen at the exact same moment.
  • Missed exits create stress and detours.
  • Meeting points become unclear when every device follows a different route.

How DriBu helps

DriBu is built for exactly these shared journeys. You create a Trip, see your group on one shared map and use saved shared routes so vehicles do not drift onto different roads. If the plan changes on the go, Quick Navigation lets you start a new route immediately.

Shared Trip

A Trip keeps vehicles, participants and routes in one place, which reduces coordination across different apps or chats.

Live locations on one map

With optional location sharing, the group can see who is ahead, who is behind and who has stopped for a break.

Routes the whole group can use

Saved routes are available to everyone in the Trip and can be started by any member.

Quick Navigation

If the meeting point or destination changes, a new route can be started right away without reorganizing the whole journey.

Why this matters for camper groups

Campers and RVs do not travel like regular cars. Height, width and weight matter, and not every road works for every vehicle. That is why DriBu supports vehicle-based navigation with vehicle profiles. Each vehicle can keep its own relevant dimensions while the group still stays connected inside the same Trip.

This is especially useful when a convoy includes vehicles of different sizes. The group remains visible, follows the same travel plan and can still use vehicle profiles that may be considered in navigation.

Additional value on the road

DriBu also helps with the small situations that usually disrupt a convoy. The Break and Help buttons make it visible when one vehicle needs to stop or needs support. In the map view, the app can also show campgrounds, camper stops, tent sites and hotels nearby, which is helpful when the day’s plan changes on the road.

FAQ

Do all vehicles need DriBu?

For shared Trip features, it works best if all vehicles use DriBu. That way everyone sees the same route and live locations on one shared map. Individual drivers can still use DriBu on their own, for example for Quick Navigation or vehicle-based navigation.

Is DriBu only for campers?

No. DriBu also works for group trips in regular cars. Campers and RVs benefit from the added option to use vehicle profiles with height, width and weight in navigation.

Can we re-plan on the fly?

Yes. Saved routes can be used by the whole group, and Quick Navigation makes it easy to start a new destination or detour right away. That keeps the convoy flexible without losing track of each other.

Does live location always have to stay active?

No. Location sharing is optional and can be turned on or off at any time. DriBu is transparent about when live locations are used for the shared map.

First the benefit, then the download

If your group travels in multiple campers, DriBu reduces the coordination effort exactly where convoys usually drift apart: routes, breaks, meeting points and last-minute changes. The base version can be used for free. Navigation is available through Premium options, without tying this page to fixed pricing.
