A Trip represents a shared journey — no matter how many people or vehicles are involved. Inside a Trip you’ll find:

• Group overview
• Vehicles & vehicle profiles
• Planned routes
• Current group status

People can join via invite link or Trip code. Saved routes are available to all Trip members and can be started by anyone.

Live locations on one shared map

Within a Trip, everyone’s current position is shown on a single shared map. Live location works:

• with active navigation
• or without turn-by-turn guidance (meetups, breaks, finding each other after stops)

Location sharing is voluntary and can be turned on or off anytime.

Navigation that thinks in a group context

DriBu treats navigation as part of the group journey:

• Trip navigation: planned routes can be used by everyone — so the whole group follows the same path.
• Quick Navigation: start a route anytime, even without a Trip (day trips, detours, new destinations).
• Choose your travel mode: car/vehicle, bicycle or walking.
• Plan & save routes: prepare routes and use them together in a Trip.

Built for campers & RVs: vehicle-based navigation

Classic navigation often ignores real vehicle constraints. DriBu supports vehicle-based navigation:

• Create multiple vehicle profiles
• Save parameters like height, width and weight
• Those parameters can be considered in route planning
• Enter values in metric or imperial units

Safety without stress: break & help buttons

On group trips, quick clarity matters — without distractions. DriBu includes Break and Help buttons directly in the map/navigation view:

• One tap informs your group about a break or support needed.
• The action appears in the Trip timeline — including timestamp and who triggered it.

Find accommodation on the way

DriBu can show campgrounds, camper stops, tent sites and hotels around you on the map. You can also search for terms like “campground” or “hotel” + a location.

Privacy

• Location sharing is voluntary and can be turned off anytime.
• Data is used only for the specific feature and not stored permanently if not required for an ongoing Trip.
• When you leave or delete a Trip, associated data is removed.
