Questions about the app?
Traveling in multiple cars sounds simple, but it quickly turns into a coordination problem. One vehicle misses an exit, someone stops unexpectedly or the group spreads across different routes. At that point people start switching between navigation, messenger and phone calls, even though what they really need is one clear overview. DriBu keeps that group context together in one calm app.
The problem when several cars travel together
As soon as several drivers are involved, lots of small coordination tasks appear. The group drifts apart, spontaneous changes have to be shared and one joint journey starts behaving like several separate trips.
- The group spreads out because not everyone drives or stops in the same way.
- Too many calls and messages interrupt the drive when all you really need is one shared overview.
- Spontaneous changes to the meeting point, break or destination create extra coordination effort.
- Different navigation suggestions can easily send vehicles onto different roads.
How DriBu helps
DriBu is built for shared journeys where several vehicles need the same travel context. With Trips, the group stays connected, live locations on one shared map provide a current overview and shared saved routes mean the drive does not have to be organized separately in each car. If plans change, Quick Navigation helps without switching into other apps.
Shared Trip
A Trip keeps vehicles, the journey context and the shared route in one place. That reduces the handover between navigation, messenger and phone.
Live locations on one map
With optional location sharing, the group can immediately see how the drive is unfolding and where each vehicle currently is.
Routes the group can share
Saved routes can be used together inside a Trip. That is useful when everyone should stay on the same route.
Quick Navigation
If the destination or meeting point changes at short notice, a new route can be started right away without reorganizing the whole group.
Why this matters for this audience
Whether it is a group of friends, a family journey or a shared day trip, traveling with multiple cars works better when there is less side communication and more shared overview. That is the practical role DriBu fills. Instead of bouncing between map apps, chats and phone calls, the group sees the same journey in one shared context.
This also matters when the group includes different kinds of vehicles. If someone travels in a van or camper, DriBu can also support vehicle-based navigation with vehicle profiles, while the group still stays connected in the same Trip.
Additional value on the road
On group drives, the smaller functions often make the biggest difference. Break and Help buttons make short signals easier than writing messages. In map view, DriBu can also show campgrounds, camper stops, tent sites and hotels when the day changes on the road. Location sharing is optional, and DriBu is transparent about when it is used for the shared map. The app is available on iOS, Android, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

FAQ
Can I use DriBu without a fixed Trip?
Yes. Quick Navigation can also be used without a fixed Trip. For shared live locations on one map and shared saved routes, it makes sense to create a Trip.
Is the app only for long journeys?
No. DriBu also works for day trips, meetups with friends or short group drives. A shared overview is often helpful even on shorter routes when several cars travel together.
Can we use the same route together?
Yes. Saved routes can be shared inside a Trip. That means the group can work from one route instead of comparing separate navigation suggestions in each vehicle.
Is the basic version free?
Yes. The DriBu base version can be used for free. Navigation is available through Premium options without listing fixed prices on this page.
Several cars, but one shared journey
DriBu helps exactly where group drives tend to become unnecessarily complicated: overview, last-minute changes, shared routes and quick coordination. The base version can be used for free. Navigation is available through Premium options, without fixed pricing on this page.
